![]() I first encountered these issues with a wacom tablet and a 3dconnexion space navigator - both devices that have "proper win 10 device drivers" - but had the same issues due to Windows 10 installing shit USB host drivers. Install the correct drivers, remove any instances of the RTC from your device manager and then plug in your RTC again. ![]() ![]() This driver can suck big time on certain chipsets. Just as the RTC uses the basic windows microphone driver to work (it doesn't in any way need more than that) Win10 installs a generic set of "maximum compatibility" drivers for your USB host controller. and you should be able to see it’s selected Input Volume and Input Level. On the «Input» tab, you should have the Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter selected. Install the correct manufacturer chipset drivers for your motherboard, don't let win10 install the generic set that it prefers. Go into your system preferences (you do not need Rocksmith or Steam opened/running for this). Now, do you want to know how to fix it for your Win10 install? Glad you got it working, despite the idiocy of the workaround. Not sure if any Ubisoft folks frequent this Subreddit, but if so, you guys should really get your act together and release a proper Win10 driver for the Real Tone Cable that works easily for everyone.
